New Life Forward Nonprofit Corporation is a faith-based reentry nonprofit created to provide the support that we believe is often missing when people are trying to rebuild their lives. We were created with a simple belief: people deserve support, second chances, and an opportunity to change. Sometimes people have been dealt a difficult hand, made mistakes, struggled with addiction, experienced homelessness, or are coming home from incarceration without the support they need to successfully move forward. We believe they should not be thrown to the wolves and expected to figure everything out alone.

Our mission is to reduce recidivism by helping justice-impacted individuals successfully transition back into their communities and build a better quality of life. We believe that people can change when they are supported in the right way. Through faith, compassion, mentoring, outreach, resource navigation, employment connections, life-skills development, and community partnerships, we walk alongside people as they work toward stability, independence, purpose, and a better future.

New Life Forward believes that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and love. The people living on the streets, battling addiction, struggling through difficult circumstances, or returning home from incarceration are still human beings with value, purpose, and potential. We meet people where they are, pray with and for those who welcome that support, listen to their needs, and help connect them with resources that can create a pathway off the streets and toward greater stability.

While New Life Forward was officially created as a faith-based reentry nonprofit focused on reducing recidivism, our work has continued to grow. As we work toward expanding our reentry services and eventually bringing support directly into correctional facilities, we have been intentionally building relationships and serving people in the community through broader outreach and resource connections. Our current outreach allows us to support people who may be experiencing homelessness, unemployment, addiction, housing instability, or other barriers while continuing to build the foundation for our future reentry programs.

We believe that people should not be defined by their worst decision, their past, their addiction, their circumstances, or the time they have spent incarcerated. We believe in second chances. We believe in meeting people where they are. And we believe that with the right support, accountability, resources, faith, and opportunity, people can change and move forward.

New Life Forward exists to help fill the gap — walking alongside people when they need someone in their corner, connecting them to resources, and helping them move toward a safer, healthier, more stable, and more hopeful future.
